Whether your space is a farm, an allotment, a small garden or some pots and containers, I can help you get the best from it. If you want lines of delicious vegetables, a food forest, an orchard, a spicery, a forest garden, a sea of herbs to enliven every meal or whatever, I have decades of experience at Otter Farm, River Cottage and garden design for clients to share and help you create what’s best for you. Deciding what to grow and how to grow it - what’s right for you - sets the parameters for success: get it right and you have every chance of delicious meals to come. I’ll take you through the big questions you need to ask yourself: how to avoid (or get) gluts, how to maximise flavour, get most value from your time and money, whether to prioritise flavours from the shops or try a taste or two of the unexpected. Over the months, through more 1-to-1s and other experiences, I’ll take you on every step of the journey from plot to plate, including giving you some ideas about how to get the most from your harvest.
